Christina Wolney
Case Manager/Resident Advocate

Christina Wolney, Case Manager/Resident Advocate, began volunteering at the Stop AIDS Project of South Florida (now called Compass) in high school. She has been doing diversity based outreach and prevention education in the community on and off since that time. Christina has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University where she was the president of the campus’ gay-straight alliance. This position offered Christina the opportunity to travel throughout the region, presenting at conferences on the importance of acknowledging, sharing, and celebrating our diversity. Christina’s career plans lean towards the field of clinical psychology, but Christina hopes to remain with Alliance for Living throughout the lengthy educational process she is facing as this seems to be the best way to combine her desire to work directly with people while continuing to do outreach within the community. Christina is very grateful for all of the knowledge and skills that Alliance for Living’s staff and members have been so willing to share and she looks forward to the new insight offered every day.
