I am the mother of two beautiful daughters and a lifelong resident of Southeastern Connecticut. I graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 2000 as a Frances Perkins Scholar with a BA in Critical Social Thought/Family Studies. Soon after graduation, I began working in the Human Services field as I understood my responsibility to give back.  As a Child Care Worker, I worked with displaced teenage girls teaching daily living skills and anger management. As a Family Advocate I worked with families in crisis helping them navigate both local and federal agencies for resources. As a Family Preservation Worker I provided direct care for families involved with child protection services. As the new Housing Coordinator for Alliance For Living, I hope to mirror the dedicated staff who have worked tirelessly to improve the quality of life of those living in New London County and beyond.  After all, true happiness comes from helping others and I know that I have joined an incredibly gifted and compassionate team.
