I recently moved to Connecticut from Rhode Island, where I worked in the legal field as a case manager and supervisor for three years; however, my college background is in medicine. HIV/AIDS outreach has been a passion of mine since working as a nursing assistant while in college, as it broke my heart to see that even medical professionals had the same stereotypical biases against individuals with HIV/AIDS (even though they, of all people, should have known better!) Now, it's a pleasure to work in the field full time, as the Housing Coordinator with Alliance for Living. I'm looking forward to working with all of our members and settling down in southeastern CT.
