Slim Jones
Maintenance

Everyone knows me by Slim, but my real name is Raymond Jones. I am not new to Alliance for Living as I worked here about ten years ago doing maintenance and van driving. I was also one of the founding members of MAC and I have taken part in many member activities over the years.

I am originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee and I moved to New London in 1974. I love to play golf, do art projects with wood and mixed media, and my newest hobby is making quilts and wall hangings. I guess you could call me a family man, as I spend a lot of time with my wife and granddaughter.

I am now cooking at Alliance, as well as doing maintenance work and ELP activities. I find working at a non profit organization that helps people to be extremely rewarding and I am happy to be back doing a job that I love.
