Carol Jones
Director of Medical Case Management
Carol is an AIDS Certified Instructor. One of the many strengths Carol brings to her work at Alliance is her openness about being a recovering drug addict with 17 years of sobriety, and her passion for working with people. Early in her recovery process, Carol was an outreach worker helping individuals to access drug treatment and HIV testing. When her best friend died of AIDS complications, she chose to honor his life by focusing her work on HIV/AIDS. She began her work in the field in the early 1990s with Alliance’s parent organization, the Southeastern Connecticut AIDS Project. “I love my job,” says Carol, “and I am eternally grateful to the members I serve who allow me to be a part of their lives.”
